And yes i have not mentioned the 3D space battle engine…because well i never use it, only a crazy man would not auto-resolve the battles! So that is two main flaws then…but it feels really like Star Wars doesn’t it, and that pretty much makes up for the other issues. It still remains my favourite Star Wars strategy game to this day (and i’ve played and modded them all), but with that one big flaw that always slightly spoils the experience. What should be a relaxed informative feature becomes a point of added stress in a game that does not really need that (seeing as you pretty much need to manage everything yourself, sorry 3PO but you are not a good enough ‘manager’!). The game features a compelling story mode and nine multiplayer game modes Battlefront II, as most Star Wars games, is based on George Lucas movies. It’s a great Star Wars Nerds in game feature (the encyclopedia) but any time you look at it you feel you are being punished by giving the AI the time advantage you are wasting reading the thing. I still kick back with Supremacy on my XP pc every couple of months (it is the CD version)…and every time i always fall back to it’s biggest flaw (to my mind), the lack of a pause function that would let you read the encyclopedia at your leisure.
