Some add on missions require it.Īlso, get one of the sound packs floating around if you haven't already. It adds more realistic weapons and adds a few missions to go with them. I haven't tried it yet because I have yet to patch my install past 1.75. "TJ's Air Raid" sounds like an interesting mission and is highly praised. I dunno if it's good, but requesting fire support from cruisers and watching bodies fly through the air is fun. "Operation Axe-point" - I tried it a long time ago and it seems to be much improved now. I haven't played much, but it has potential in my mind because it apparantly consists of 60(!) missions. The third campaign that I gave a shot was the PMC Fury campaign. I especially enjoyed watching the fuel dump I blew up burn. It cleans it up a bit and adds some new weapons (the M4A1/Master Key is a lot of fun.) Well worth the download.Īnother small campaign that's worth a shot is "Samson's Heroes." It's a short black ops campaign with some interesting twists. The Delta Operations campaign has been updated to v1.2 and now requires Resistance. Well, this thread inspired me to check out some more missions and add ons today. View image: /infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif I'm always looking for another good mission. If anyone else knows of any good missions, post 'em. That's about all I have on here at the moment. It's completely pointless, but I've spent a few hours goofing around on it. I don't remember anything about it, but chances are that since I kept it, it doesn't suck.Īnother one to keep an eye out for is "holy FUCKING shit." It isn't so much a mission per sey as it is a bit of interesting scripting.īasically, you get rocket-powered tanks to race that move so fast that they reach escape velocity and start flying through the air. I'm pretty sure that "Tainted Eagle" is good as well. It has a lot of flaws, but I liked it in spite of it appearing to have been made by an illiterate twelve-year-old (or maybe JeffK.) The text is painful to read. "Hornet's Nest" is an interesting mission. I haven't checked up on it in about six months, though. I also recall the DVC campaign showing promise with a lot of well designed missions. I haven't played more than a mission or two, but it seems to be well liked. The Spetsgruppe Alpha 13 campaign is made by the same guy and is basically the same thing, only with Spetz Natz. I'm about 8 missions in and still have my full squad. It's also interesting in that there's an option to allow your casulties to carry over into the next mission. It's well put together, but be forewarned - some of the missions are very hard. In fact, I just finished going through a mission 10 minutes ago. The Delta Operations campaign is good if you like black ops stuff. I'm always glad to see somebody else that enjoys one of the most under-rated games ever. There are a few more, but you should be able to find pretty much anything through the links on those sites.
